• Optional English Preparatory Class Student Selection Exam

Purpose of the Exam

• To select the students who are eligible to study the preparatory class among the students who have enrolled in our university and preferred the optional English preparatory class.

Target Group

• All students who enrol in our university for the 2025-2026 academic year and choose to study the optional preparatory class.

Date of Exam

• September 14, 2026 (Monday)

Time of Exam

• 1^st Stage (Paper Based): 10.00 AM
• 2^nd Stage (Writing): 14.00 PM

Duration

• 1^st Stage (Paper Based): 100 minutes
• 2^nd Stage (Writing): 45 minutes

Exam Method

• Face to face

Exam Rules

• Students taking the exam are supposed to be at the exam hall at least 30 minutes before the exam starts.
• It is compulsory to use pencil in the exam.
• Entering the exam with a mobile phone and leaving during the exam is not allowed.
• To participate the exam students are supposed to have their passports/identification cards and student certificates.

Exam Fee

• Free of charge. No certificate is given to students at the end of the exam.

Statements

• Students who are entitled to study the optional English preparatory class at the end of the exam will study the English preparatory class at ÇAKÜ DİLMER for one year.
• Students who are failed in the exam will be able to select their 1^st year courses through ÇAKÜ UBYS (https://ubys.karatekin.edu.tr) and get them approved by their advisors on between September 21^st and September 25^th, 2026. This will allow them to attend 1^st year courses.
• Students who aren’t entitled to study English preparatory class and want to improve their language skills can improve their language skills by enrolling in our paid courses offered at ÇAKÜ DİLMER.
